What I would like to know is, for the dog behind the door scene, did they use a sedated or dead Dobermann? The way it drops can't be good for a sedated dog. And it's clearly not a puppet.

I never thought about that. It was probably a dead dog, although if it was fake it could have been weighted with something to make it seem real. It's very realistic.

It's definitely not a real dog. You can tell when they show it close up after Billy shot it.
