A fond farewell to everyone here

As most of you have seen, IMDb will be killing their message boards on the 20th. I wanted to take this opportunity to say farewell to my fellow Changeling fans. I've greatly enjoyed the time I've spent on this board, talking about our favorite haunted house chiller with like (and unlike) minded fans. Perhaps someday, there will be a new movie message board and some of us will meet up there. I wish everyone happy viewing of TC and other movies like it.

Thank you for starting this thread, Omega.

While I wasn't exactly a regular here, this board was in my favorites, and I did come and read most new posts.

Sweets (do I have your name right?), I enjoyed discussing with you ideas for your version of TC. I didn't respond to your PMs after I'd contributed all the thoughts I had to you, and my elderly father demanded so much of my time and the little energy I had (he's now deceased), I couldn't even manage to respond to you towards the end. My apologies, and I wish you the very best with your project. I know you're very passionate about it.

I came here to say the same thing. Ive loved reading posts about one of my favourite movies....I will really miss it all.

Some (sort of) good news. A message board has been created to supplant the official IMDb board: http://imdb2.freeforums.net. I've joined and have requested a horror movie and thriller subforum. If they create one, I'll ask for one dedicated to TC as well. I hope people will join so we can continue our great community over there.

I would be more than happy to migrate over there if that sub forum is created. This group of people are really the only ones I can talk to about TC. No one else is as passionate about it as you all are. I hope we can continue our discussions, as I've enjoyed them a lot. And I'm glad to see others feel the same way.

Sewaat! Yours was the name was I trying to think of, and failed remembering. My apologies.

I didn't respond to your last few PMs, because I really had nothing else to add, and also things took a worst in my life for the past few years that prevented me from being able to focus on virtually anything else.

I'm glad you posted, and that I could explain this to you, and I will miss all of the regular posters here who are so passionate about this film, including you. I wanted to give a call-out to you as being memorable to me, even if I had your name wrong :)
