This was a pretty good movie. It was nice, but had a bittersweet ending. Bo was good. It's a shame she didn't take acting more seriously and take lessons. She was very natural, however (Anthony Hopkins himself said it on her biography).
shareI thought this film was quite charming, funny and even surprisingly touching. Anthony Hopkins and Shirley MacLaine were both terrific in the leads. Bo Derek and Michael Brandon are both fine as well. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by the bittersweet ending.

I haven't seen this movie in a very long time, but I do remember Bo Derek and how beautiful she was in this...although she was somewhat awkward, she kept putting her hands to her face or mouth when she was talking which was very distracting. All in all I do remember liking this film, and would love to see it again sometime soon.
