Good For a Laugh or Two

Watched this for the first time tonight, and I must say, this is some real low-budget trash. Especially laughable were Cameron Mitchell's lines (the delivery of which I found uncommonly unrestrained), the brainless acting by the female lead, and let's not forget the below-inane lyrics of some of the songs heard at the disco! The defrocked monk character is shamelessly borrowed from HORROR EXPRESS, and the demon character looks just like the leering, evil Johnny from Hammer's DRACULA A.D. 1972.

A telling fact about this movie's rambling references to God and Satan is that it was filmed in the heart of Mormon country: Salt Lake City, Utah (oh, and in San Diego and La Jolla, CA)! The Cameron Mitchell character's demise, and the fact that evil triumphs in the end, I found to be especially unusual. If you like bad movies, then this one is a hoot!
