Just wondering since there are numerous cuts of this film floating about and also there appears that most of the gore scenes were cut out and instead used in Night Train to Terror. Anyone know anything about this movie?

Philip Yordan wrote and produced this, as well as "The Death Wish Club" and that other movie that was part of the "Night Train to Terror" film. The bad actress who plays the wife in "Cataclysm" is his real-life wife, Faith Yordan (aka "Faith Clift"). Their son is the rock singer in "Night Train to Terror." All three movies were absolutely unsellable. And went through many cuts before "Cataclysm" and "Death Wish Club" were eventually licensed to bad video companies. In a last-ditch effort to recoup some money, they cut all three movies down and packaged it as "Night Train to Terror." Even though that was bought by cheap film distributor for theatrical, it didn't make much money.
