What was her age when she did this movie? She looks rather young.

I can think of several Italian films which have no shame in showing underage girls nude and/or in a sexual manner... Romeo & Juliet, Once Upon A Time In America, Trauma, etc.; so seeing Cindy stripped naked and molested [ And slashed ] wasn't entirely surprising, no matter how shocking it was. Ah, those wacky Italians!

Seems kinda improper to show girl's character that young being molested like that in the movies. Do that now and folks will want to punch you.

Was Asia Argento underage when she shot Trauma? Either way, its just creepy considering her father directed it.

She had appeared nude in an 'Emanuelle' movie three years before this film and actually looked a little older there. I think she was just a very petite actress they made up to look really young.

As one poster said above, the actress Brigitte Petronio had nude scenes and even lesbian scenes in several movies before this one. So she was definitely not underage if that was what the OP meant. Her age was not shown in IMDb but my guess is that she was in her 20s. She was petite and had a slender build and I think she was chosen to play a much younger character in the film. Nevertheless, the cutting scene was difficult to watch.

I kind of thought she resembled Carol Kane from When A Stranger Calls a little. Maybe I'm just crazy, though.
