'Movie references'??

It says that Carny is referenced in the movie Being John Malkovich because someone uses the same name guessing trick that Gary Busey uses in Carny. That's little bit of a stretch. I mean, it's not as if that trick was invented for this movie. That would be like claiming that any movie made after 1980 that has a fire eater in it is referencing Carny.
