Victor Willis or Ray Simpson, who do you prefer, VP fans?

As a casual listener to the songs of the Village People, I can honestly say I prefer Victor Willis (the original lead singer) over Ray Simpson. How about you guys?

Ray Simpson was a backup singer for the group. When Willis refused to do Can't Stop The Music...Simpson got the lead. He eventually left the group in the early 80s only to return in the late 80s.

Agreed Victor ALL THE WAY

IMHO Village People without Victor Willis is like the Rolling Stones withOUT Mick.

I've been a fan of the Village People for many years, since their very first song was released. I even had the good fortune of seeing them in concert, many years ago. (it was the best concert I had ever been to!) I definitely preferred Victor Willis as the lead singer. His voice was richer, and sounded better.

However, Ray Simpson did a pretty good job after VW left the group. BTW, my favorite member of the group was David Hodo.
