NOT Brad Pitt and NOT Nick Cage

People who use IMDB should also use their other services:
Brad Pitt first credited roll: Less Than Zero
Party goer/Preppie Guy at Fight (uncredited)

Nickolas Cage first credited role:
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Brad's Bud (as Nicolas Coppola)

Nick Cage is reported to be an extra. As an extra he wouldn't have been listed on IMDB.

Was that Patrick Swayze in the first scene?

reply

The actor wearing sunglasses is David Keith. He does resemble Patrick Swayze, especially Johnny part in Dirty Dancing.

IMDb is user generated. Any idiot can submit nonsense. All submissions need to be approved but they don't have staff actually checking the credits of old movies or tv shows.

Extras aren't credited. Your suggestion is useless. I waste a lot of time submitting corrections when idiots like those on here say "That looked JUST like Brad Pitt! It must be him! I have to add him to the database!" with no proof whatsoever other than a vague resemblance. I hate the ignorance on here.

Did I see Brad Pitt or Nic Cage in the movie? Nope. But I wasn't really looking. Furthermore, it's highly unlikely that teenagers would go all the way to rural Ohio just to be an extra in a film. That's not how you break into the business.

The people you idolize wouldn't like you.

The strange thing about this is there are tons of articles that state Nicolas Cage was an extra in Brubaker and he was in "Best of Times" as the character "Nicholas" in 1981. Then he was in "Fast Times" in 1982 and "The Outsiders" in 1983. He had not yet used the name Cage. Google it. How could ALL these articles have it wrong. All of them? It's even been published in books. Even AMC has Nicolas listed as an extra in the movie.

WAIT, I just saw a picture of him in the movie. He's soooo far in the background you can barely make him out. He's definitely in the movie.
We ALL make mistakes, none of us get it right all the time. He happens to be in the movie but he really is the definition of "extra" because if you sneeze or wear glasses, you won't see him.
CHEERS!
