Best source for news is Hazel's own website

There's one going on ebay UK at the moment, currently at £31 with four days to go, check out lot number 6379128540.

...Apparently Amazon are trading used copies starting at £60 (!!!). 3 copies available @ 11/2005 This is probably violation of artist prs, so beware.

I have the soundtrack, I used to have a VHS copy I taped off CHannel 4 but I watched it so many times it broke . . . thanks for the DVD info, people, I'll keep my eyes out for it on eBay. Sixty quid from Amazon is way too much.

After all, what a superb cast in the movie as well - Jim Carver from The Bill and Charlie from Casualty - and The Damned's RAT SCABIES in an audition sequence! Been to some of the locations as well - Camden Palace(Music Machine), RAinbow Theatre and hope and Anchor many years ago.

I think Hazel is - to this day - still in dispute over prs with various "Managers" re her recording contracts. As mentioned before, the dvd was officially released (about 2-3 years ago) but withdrawn very quickly, which makes an ORIGINAL dvd quite rare. Still, if you're desperate to see the movie (and many are) then I suggest you keep tracking e-Bay; but, caveat emptor.

Close the pod-bay doors, HAL.

Just bought one off ebay. It is in PAL, so you need an appropriate DVD player (or play it on a computer). It appears to be a copy, but that is my only option in the US. Total cost ~ $21.50.

Amazon (US) has several used copies of the VHS, I know it isnt the DVD that I would love to have as well, however if you have to have it vhs might suffice, I may pick one up as well.

now there is abluray and a dvd in the usa it seemed that the end is missing the song if only miss
but maybe the bluray worst the shot

New and different issue of the DVD, remastered, uncut (both supposedly, I just ordered it):

So far no uncut Blu-ray in sight, may be, this one will be the best uncut we get.

Depends on what you want. I own it, ordered it, before I realized it was a different version.
Bugger. I even managed to send the correct info to Amazon, so they could list the real running time.
I would not bother buying it.
But, there is - listed as being available since Nov 2012 - a new issue of the DVD, supposedly digitally remastered and uncut. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009GB97GC as soon as I saw it, and the reasonable price of GBP 15 (less than 18 Eur) + p&p I ordered it, and should have it in a few days.
For a normal DVD this is a high price, but given the rip-off china-pressed DVD or old DVD with prices over 80 GBP and more, this is ok for me.

I watched only the end of the Blu-ray and I regret buying it. The cut ending in the asylum is fairly significant bringing the message and meaning of film across. Without it, it is just another meaningless film with a few have-been stars (ok, Jonathan Price, is still some kind of star).

I'm watching it right now....online for free, it's out there to watch :o)
