I was just wondering if anyone can tell me for sure whether the copy of "The Boogeyman" in Sony's "The Boogeyman/Return of the Boogeyman" DVD is anamorphic widescreen 16x9?
If I remember correctly, the box says it is, but on the web, 1/2 the reviews of that set say the first movie is anamorphic, 1/2 of them say it's not.
Can anyone who owns it tell me for sure?

I've owned the Sony release. Yes it's anamorphic and of far worse quality to the non anamorphic Anchor Bay double bill release.
I sold the Sony and kept the AB US release.
Plus the AB version came with a lovely US poster art repro card insert.
It should be noted that the Sony Double Feature DVD has an extremely unstable presentation. While I can't compare it to the Anchor Bay DVD, the Sony DVD transfer is very jumpy. Some scenes were so bad, it nearly gave me a headache.
