Better title: 'Hey, I saw all of the horror movies of the 70's too!'

Make no mistake, EVERY single poster praising this film is only doing so out of pure nostalgia, and likely was drug addled when they saw it the first time. Either that, or you're dealing with true mental dysfunction.

This movie is god-awful. Objectively speaking, god awful.

NO -- that is not an opinion. As the late Bill Hicks would say, I can show my work on an Etch-a-sketch. We're talking scientifically validated and peer reviewed fact.

HO-ly gawd.

There's another post in this message board that mentions Uwe Boll. I honestly didn't think it was possible to insult the oeuvre of Mr. Boll. I stand corrected.

I keep seeing references to this film's "atmosphere" on this message board from its champions. This film has all the atmosphere of a 1950's Chevrolet commercial shot on Ed Wood's B-roll camera. Are you sh-tting me?

And somewhere here there's a quote to the effect that this film is like a mash-up of "Halloween", "The Amityville Horror", and "The Exorcist." I won't deny that you can clearly tell there are elements cribbed from all of those films. Stevie Wonder could plainly see that, and he'd STILL be angrier at Ulli Lommel for cobbling together this piece of crap than at me for making that joke.
