Original Script?

Hi, I own the novel based on the screenplay of "The Blues Brothers" (with 8 pages of dangerous photographs).
Many trivia info tell the original screenplay was 300 pages long and contains extra elements that would overflow in a second movie, but the novel just ends like the end of the movie (many of the differences I noticed are already short-listed on the trivia section).
Is there an "original script" that contains a follow-up story or the second movie planned to get out soon after was supposed to be a prequel?

Btw, when I bought this book, "Blues Brothers-Private" wasn't avayable on Amazon, but I found this slip at the bottom page...

Still wonder if I get the book for only $7.95 (plus stamps) by sending it :D

Ok I found this damaged version of the script:

And it seems like the Novel I'm reading is basically original script slightly edited.

Still, the question remains: is the supposed "Blues Brothers 2", planned to get out soon after the first one a prequel or a sequel?
