Saw this when it came out

I was a huge war buff when I was a kid. Didn't realize that people actually get hurt in wars. Anyway, my father and I went to see this. The most awkward scene for my papa and I to sit through together was the scene where the Italian woman gives birth in the army tank. Another stand out scene is when the soldier gets his testicle blown off and Lee Marvin looks at it as if it were a meatball, and tells the guy, "you only need one."
