Does anyone know please what the maze picture that both of them have is? Who the artist is? It appears 30 minutes in. Thanks.

Yes! They do both own the same piece.

I think it is there to show us how there is a small connection between the two men. An understanding that they both have a shared way of thinking in some small way.

It's so interesting that literally every shot in this film means something...
