Creepy alien voices

I haven't seen this movie since it aired on TV & maybe a repeat soon after. The only things I remember are a glimpse in my memory of Max Gail outdoors with a hard hat on and a scene possibly in the opening of two weird aliens at the controls of a spaceship speaking brief words and phrases in a VERY creepy monotone alien language voice. The stuff of nightmares. Congrats to the sound effects team.

I remember Max Gail being taken over by an alien and constantly saying, "Everything is in order" to his suspicious wife and that his wife was hot, but that's about all. I think about that line from Gail every time I watch Barney Miller.
