Christopher Lee was offered the part of

I was recently reading a tribute to Christopher Lee which had extracts from interviews he had given over the years.He mentioned he was originally offered the role of Dr Rumack before Leslie Nielsen took on the role.

He did a pretty good job playing the mad scientist in Gremlins 2. Looked like he was having fun.

If he actually took on the role, I guess they would have made him speak and behave like Dracula.

Christopher Lee was right to turn the role down. Mr. Lee had too much class to appear in this film.
