MURIEL: SELFISH WOMAN
On several occasions, Muriel behaved in a selfish manner.
She went on a photo expedition when she was pregnant against Henry's wishes. She became ill and could have lost the baby.
She repeats this behavior when she sails away for five weeks to take pictures for an oceanographer. She left behind her responsibilities as wife and mother.
Can you name other instances when she put herself ahead of her family, home, responsibilities, etc.?
