This person appears to be a bored troll who's lighted upon this board to see whom he/she/it can annoy. Follow my lead and put he/she/it on Ignore.

The fewer the responses, the more likely the troll is to fly off to some other random board and be a pest for as long as other users allow it.

I'm not Australian, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. And I didn't think it was too bad. Considering it wasn't Bennett (the actor) attempting to affect an Aussie accent, but Tarr (the character), it was perfectly fine.

Ricki Tarr (the character Hywel Bennett is playing) isn't Australian. He's an English spy pretending to be an Australian businessman. And Irina is not fooled.

And in any case he could have been a relatively 'new' Australian picking up the accent. I have heard worse, it wasn't so bad.
