shareThe bad news is that CBS, who somehow managed to aquire the rights to the pilot episode, did not come to terms with Mill Creek (the dvd company). So...the two part pilot will NOT be included in the release.

Don't be so fast to judge who is wrong. The company releasing the product could have offered more money for it. I would have paid $25 for the complete set. Amazon hast listed for $10.99. It does tick me off when the complete show as aired is not released.
shareNo I actually spoke to someone who worked for MCI and they said they tried very hard but CBS refused all offers. I don't get what their problem is. Its a 30 year old, 1 season show. At this point, whatever cut they were going to receive from it is the best they will ever get
shareThe pilot was actually the best episode, IMO. When that came out, suddenly all the TV critics were raving about it. I have the boxed set, but no pilot.
I have the pilot on tape, but not digital. Not even a commercial copy.
