Solid Gold '79 2-hour pilot episode

Some individuals do not know this but out of the 8 Solid Gold Dancers who was on the 2-hour premire, 5 of them continued to be on the show and was on between 2-6 seasons.

Paula Beyers (seasons 1 & 2)
Alex Cole (seasons 1, 2, 3, and the first two epidodes of season 4.)
Gayle Crofoot (started on episode 5 of season 3, 4, and 5.)
Deborah Jensen (seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4.) Deborah did not appear in the final 7 episodes of season 4 or during the Summer Solid Gold Special and was replaced by Arlene Ng. Deborah instead was one of tow dancers who appeared in all 40 episodes of Solid Gold Hits (a spin off of Solid Gold) during the Summer of 1984, the other being Cooley Jackson.
Darcel Wynne (seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (only the last 7 episodes of this season), and 6. Darcel was not listed as "Principal Dancer" during the pilot episode. In addition, only one dancer was on more episodes than Darcel. Pam Rossi was on Solid Gold for the first 6 seasons. During season 2, Pam "disappeared" for 4 shows approximately January of 82 (airing).

Interesting, I did notice a couple of the dancers from Solid Gold '79 go on to continue in 80's SG like Darcel but didn't know how many.

I was about 10 when I saw Solid Gold '79 and it was one of my favorite shows to watch in the 80's.
