I was wondering is Shogun worth watching?
I haven't seen it and I was wondering if I should.
What time period/era of Japanese history is Shogun set in?
Also are there any battle scenes in Shogun?
If you can help me, I would grealty appreciate it.

Yes, it is
Feudal Japan about the year 1600 a.c in our time
There are more fight scenes than battle scenes
