i thought it was darren mcgavin but doing a normal professional voice, since after all he is one of the few survivors of humans and the narrator is talking about the history... it sounds like him to me

James Henry "Bozo" Miller is credited as "Narrator" on Space Zone Samurai (1978). He left show business and after a series of odd jobs ran for and was elected the Mayor of Santa Monica. People voted for him because they thought he was Larry Harmon. He oversaw the restoration of a portion of the 10 Freeway damaged by the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
He was later sued by Larry Harmon.
