RIP Miguel Ferrer

Miguel Ferrer, most recently of TV's CROSSING JORDAN and NCIS: LA fame, has died of cancer at the age of 61. Most probably remember him best as Bob Morton from the 1987 classic ROBOCOP!

MAGNUM fans will remember him guest-starring alongside his father Jose Ferrer, playing his character's younger self, in season 1's excellent "Lest We Forget". It really helped casting father and son Jose and Miguel as well as mother and daughter June and Anne Lockhart. Great casting!

"Lest We Forget" has always been one of my favorite Magnum episodes. I never realized that it was Miguel Ferrer's very first role until looking at his page. It was the beginning of what was by any measure a very successful career.
