its funny of all the musical guests listed,there's never mention of..

......"the clash" and "the stray cats" being on this show and i distinctly remember seeing both of these amazing bands on during the 79/81 seasons.
'the stray cats' played 2 songs i think and it was mentioned to the studio audience that they wer'nt yet signed to a label.......and when 'the clash' played bass player paul simmonon was wearing a black leather jacket that had the gang name "the lords" emblazoned across the back.....much like the jackets worn by the street gang in the 1974 'sylvester stallone/henry winkler/perry king' movie.
does any one out there remember this?
