I'm surprized that no one has started a discussion about this series. It was wonderful.

I agree, it was so good, does anyone know if it's out on DVD?

Yes, it's out in DVD. I rented it from Netflix.

I had a old SVHS tape of it. Who would have dreamed we'd have the luxury of DVD releases of incredible programs like this!

It's a joy from start to finish.

It was a beautiful series - one of my favorite Masterpiece Theater presentations. Hayley Mills was so elegant and sensuous. Wish PBS would rerun some of these classics, including Therese Raquin, Lillie Langtry, Upstairs,Downstairs, Sunset Song etc.

Amen to that! I loved those old Masterpiece Theaters. You can buy them on PBS.org, but they're expensive.

Me too, particularly the ones that were never released on video or dvd. I've never seen Sunset Song. That version of Therese Raquin is currently showing on Acorn TV's streaming service, and they have a free trial if anyone is interested.
