Not at all. Crossdressing gets cheap laughs, until the joke gets old. Sitcoms with cheap laughs get viewers.

Bosom Buddy is an old-fashioned term meaning a best friend. It's just a clever play on words referring to two best friends who now indeed have bosoms.

RIGHT...Kip was always after Sunny and Henry went out with tons of chics. Oh yeah...they're realy flamethrowers. Homophobe jackass!!!!

I am straight and would TOTALLY wear a dress and wig if it would get me near a chick like Sonny. She made my eight year old body do many new things

The two guys in drag bit goes all the way back to Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in "Some Like It Hot". 1959! Probably even further than that! Part of the gag is that the guys are straight. Dressing in drag wouldn't be a problem if they were gay. Sounds like somebody missed the punchline!

and this is a big deal to you because...?

But seriously...it was a silly (although beloved) early 1980s sitcom. The characters of Kip and Henry never showed any signs of being gay...in fact they showed signs of being so not gay that it was obvious they weren't.
Please do not attack me for my opinions...we're all entitled to them.
