Shot Twice Or Edited?

There's one thing,about Bizarre,that I've always wondered,over the years.Were the "risque scenes",on the show,taped twice or were they edited?Would anybody happen to know?

The show was shot with two versions in mind, the uncut one that ran on Showtime contained nudity (mostly bare breasts) and profanity. The show aired in Toronto, Ont, Canada and was produced in this version strictly for the Showtime network in the USA. Simultaneously, a second version of those "racier" scenes was shot, with a different angle of the girl's chest and the swear words bleeped out with a car horn. In some cases, the bare breasts were shot with the actress wearing a bra. This version was sold to TV stations in syndication during and after the 1984-1985 season. These occasionally show up on the Comedy Network in Canada. I hope this helps and I look forward to "Bizarre" coming out on December 6th!!

Thanks for the info,Jase.I knew about the two different versions,but I didn't know how the risque scenes were shot.I'll,definitely,be picking this up on December 6th.

The harsher stuff that was harder to just edit was filmed with filmed, no laugh track (like usually used) material. See my earlier post.)
