I will always remember this show as a 13yo boy who would stay up late and watch it on Showtime for two things...

BOOBIES!!!

Now that I am older and more sophisticated, I can appreciate more of the subtle humor buried in all the sketches, which at the time all seemed to be convenient excuses to show BOOBIES!!!

I miss John Byner and think an updated version of this show would be GREAT...especially for all those 13yo boys out there (and some girls) who would love a nice sketch comedy show that promised nearly every night to show some really nice BOOBIES!!!

I would be glad to host.

It was shown on ITV in Britain and I can see why it was popular with teenagers of the time.

Yeah, I was 13/14 years old when this aired. Good mammaries. Oops, I mean memories.

I didn't have Showtime back then, I didn't see it until it was on re-runs on WUTV in Buffalo (what is now FOX). They had Benny Hill on at 10:00, Dave Allen at Large at 10:30 and Bizarre at 11:00. They always censored the boobs though.

Funny you should mention this because a friend of mine and are are doing a show in this style on our local public access TV show. You should do the same.
