Question for Germans, and German-speakers:
I'm interested,
is the accent used in this series,
appropriate for learning German language?
Or to put it this way,
can it harm my German-learning process?
I don't think watching a movie can influence your learning process, unless you watch it every day.
The only thing that you should not remember is the use of 'ma' instead of 'mich' and 'mir', and sometimes 'mich' instead of 'mir' and I believe they also used 'mir' instead of 'mich' a bunch of time.

shareI'm afraid it's not that simple. I am a German learner myself (still A2) and have noticed that most - if not all - of the characters do speak in distinct Berliner dialect. I laso lived in the city and noticed some of the movie's expressions are not used so often anymore, which is natural because it was set circa 1928. For instance, one wouldn't use the article before the name as heard throughout the movie (der Franz, der Reinhold, die Mieze, die Eva...)

You do use the article before a person's name when you are speaking OF him and not TO him.
