they need to make them like this now. Where is it gone? Its an awesome genre. And the guys that are in business now, can do even greater things if someone like Sammo, Jackie, took them under wings, it could be easily brought back.

as for the last comment, I highly doubt giving it to jackie/sammo would make the modern films good.
Hong Kong film makers have lost their touch, and are too pressured to copying western films. Too much bad choreography and CGI/bluescreen effects.
Movies like "new police story' and other crap like that are a great example of why chinese films are going to hell. They've sold out so much jackie's doing kiddie movies...the same as 'the rock'.
One quick example is "condor heroes" so famous this hong kong series that it has been remade alot and especially by mainland china and even a anime tv series is done in japan. The mainland series however has exaggerated CGI affects where a dragon comes out when someone does a martial art move...proof that it TRIES to hard and uses CGI rubbish and modernise stuff like the western movie makers when there is no call for it.
