This played often in New York in the early eighties.Kung Fu flicks played every Saturday afternoon back then.
Bought and watched it for the first time since then.Still great.

I remeber this one very well. I lived in New York City in the 1980s asnd watched alot of these Kung Fu flicks. This one in particular stood out in my memory because it was so good, and I saw it only the once. It would be YEARS, decades, untill I finally got to see it again when I managed to buy a copy on DVD. I also recall being entranced by the beautiful Wang Ping (credited as Ping Ping Wang). Never before, or since, has an actress struck me so hard with her beauty. I wonder whatever happened to her?
shareI saw it back in the 1980's on a TV channel that ran a lot of syndicated shows. Thing I still remember me was the mayor of village--No way for me to know if he was meant or didn't mean to be funny but the character was a riot.

As for Wang Ping, the first thing I thought when I saw her was that she looked like a Chinese Debra Paget. Both are beautiful ladies.
One of worst SB movies I've seen,and I'm a big SB fan. Awful kung fu,bad script.
