Is This $hitty Mess Supposed To Be A "Classic"

What a piece of $HIT.

Dourif's intensity and the initial, well, weirdness of the thing makes it worth taking a peek at for a VERY short while, but it quickly becomes pretty much unbearable
thereafter. So, yeah, it sucks.

Pretty much the same here.

I was watching it out of curiosity, specially because they obviously used good film material. As far as I could tell, until I stopped watching, the "greatness" of the movie is that it mocks Jesus Freaks, and even better, Redneck Jesus Freaks, Hollywood loves that.

Reminds me of that "genius" who the Film "Intellectuals" WORSHIP, Luis Bunuel, EVERY movie (except one) that Commie AHOLE made was an attack on the Catholic Church. One would think that after 2 or 3 such movies he would move on, but that Commie AHOLE never let go, I guess the abuse/"love" he got from Father Miguel left him all F-ed up.

And yes, his movies are utter $hit, but "intellectuals" love them, or pretend to love them.

Good goodness...

I tired to see it's greatness too. I missed it. I love Brad Dorif, but this part went downhill fast. I did laugh at the "Gonga" part.

Ya know tho'...a remake might be what it needs...maybe with an all female cast or the comic Bill Maher directing it...
