Both Swan and Mercy seemed like they wanted out. I'm not sure about the others.

It's supposed to be a positive ending because they survived the night, but I've always believed it to be heavy with irony because how long before they're on the run again?

shareI always thought the ending left it open for a potential sequel. Maybe they hook up with other gangs and go on city wide rampage of revenge on the gangs that tried to get them in part one. Even though the early reports were wrong, they disrespected The Warriors and needed to pay a price.
