What became of them?

Both Swan and Mercy seemed like they wanted out. I'm not sure about the others.

Even though the movie ends with them walking into the sunrise, in the universe of the movie, is there an "out" or better place to go from there? It's supposed to be a positive ending because they survived the night, but I've always believed it to be heavy with irony because how long before they're on the run again?

After being released from prison he changed back to his original name Richard Wright and had a successful career as a hotel magnate, thriving in heterosexual relationships with middle aged women.

I always thought the ending left it open for a potential sequel. Maybe they hook up with other gangs and go on city wide rampage of revenge on the gangs that tried to get them in part one. Even though the early reports were wrong, they disrespected The Warriors and needed to pay a price.

Rumored dead, The Fox got a job as a radio operator at Outpost 31 in Antarctica. There he met a worse fate than his subway mashed stunt double from The Warriors.

Yeah, it's a damn shame what became of him. You know, it's definitely your time to go when even Snake Plissken can't save you.

reply

Snake couldn't save him, but he did take care of him ultimately. Fried right in front of the board games.

Yeah, well at least we know how Childs eventually met his end, and that he wasn't the Thing. I'm still not sure how he made it back to civilization, but at least when he did, he died a noble death.
