You think the Baseball Furies went to Yankee games?

They are obviously big fans of the sport. And the Yankees had a great team at that time.

The director said that the Furies were all Mets fans. They could act stupid with their Yankees uniform on.

I agree. In one of the features on the collector's DVD Walter Hill put up a pic of the Baseball Furies at their day job.

They probably sat in the old Yankee Stadium bleachers. Those seats were really cheap back then.

Popular '80s English rock trio The Outfield originally called themselves The Baseball Boys before they were signed to Columbia/CBS Records in 1984. The name had been inspired by The Baseball Furies from "The Warriors".

I have no idea why about ten Baseball Furies stood around while one of them fought with Ajax. Shouldn't they have rushed Ajax?

There should have been a similar gang in Flushing, Queens near Shea Stadium where the Mets played.

The radio DJ referred to The Orphans as a "minor league team". She could have used the same metaphor to describe the Baseball Furies. I think she said they "dropped the ball". They dropped the ball, kicked it then threw it into the dugout. They were armed and had The Warriors outnumbered then got embarrassed. The Furies should have been experts at fighting with bats. I am not an expert on fighting. But I do know that if you brandish a weapon you better know how to use it or it could be turned on you.
