Joey and Perry

Did anyone else think they might be half-brothers? Perry is very similar to Joeys dad and they seem to have some form of mutual respect. Perry and Joey also seem to have a more unique connection than anyone else in the movie. Then at the end it becomes even more apparent when Joey's dad shows up at the door of Perry's moms with a bottle of wine. I was waiting for that revelation to be made the whole movie by the characters but maybe I'm just looking too much into it.

No. Perry and his mother were from New Jersey and had just moved into Joey's building. Not that your idea is bad or impossible, but I did not see it. I liked this movie quite a lot and somehow missed seeing it til today. I'll be watching this one more than once. You may be on to something.
