Did Michael Ontkean sing I Will Always Wait for You?

I always wondered if it was really Michael Ontkean was really singing the song "I Will Always Wait for You" during and at the end of the movie. That is such a beautiful song, by the way. Does anyone know if it was really him singing or if he was lip syncing? Because I've never seen him sing in any other roles.

My mom loved this movie and she had the album (remember them?). Mr. Ontkean was lip syncing, the songs were performed by Jimmy Webb.

No it was burton cummings who sang "I will always wait for you" and jimmy webb compose it.

But on youtube is said Jimmy Webb sang the song and Burton Cummings compose it.

Burton Cummings, best known as the lead singer for The Guess Who in their heyday, sand lead for all Mr. Ontkean's parts. Jimmy Webb wrote most of the songs. I have the soundtrack album.

Yes, it was definitely Burton Cummings singing. There's no mistaking that voice, that natural vibrato. There was simply never another voice like his!
