This was shown on 'The horror channel' in the UK Yesterday

It was 'interesting' to say the least. I'm sure it's been pointed out before but the lead villain bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain Sith dark lord...

I consider it unfair to enter a battle of wits when my opponent is so inadequately armed.

It was repeated just the other week in April and I managed to record it. After getting round to watching it the other day I have to admit to being quite impressed with how it looked. There's some very impressive set design for a movie with a miniscule budget. It's very obviously a Star Wars rip off and full of cheese but if you like that kind of thing then this movie is up there with the best.

As odd as the film might be, Richard Kiel was nominated for an Oscar, gutted he never got it.

Well, here's to next time......

And two days ago.

Damn. I had this on VHS in the early 80s

Sadly I don't have the horror channel - would love to see this again.

How it's Horror though - that channel I believe scrapes barrel's bottoms.

On today. Blatant Star Wars rip off but has at least some imagination of its own and a decent look for a low budget. I liked the music. Oh and Barbara Bach's cleavage.
