Everyone goes on about the eye-splintering scene and how nasty it is. It's not nice, don't get me wrong. But the throat-ripping scene is worse in my opinion. It's a terrible film as well in my opinion, but my husband loves Fulci!

There's something about the puncturing of an eyeball that freaks people out. Personally, I always wonder why she doesn't just reach up and move the splinter out of the way.

I though the throat bitting was pretty gross too. The slurpping, gurgling, flesh ripping, and blood spouting out was gross. It also looked realistic so that made it even nastier.
