You haven't watched many horror movies, have you? I've seen more bad horror movies than I care to count. Zombie Flesh Eaters (aka whatever it's called in your country) may not be the best zombie movie ever, let alone the best horror movie. But compared to the trashy ones that get crapped out every year, it at least has good production values.
Besides, no matter how silly a movie is, as long as it's fun to watch, I get my money's worth. There were so many crappy movies I turned off after only a few minutes (Beastly being the latest offender).
I'm obviously in the minority, but I actually think the film is pretty overrated, though I've seen plenty of horror films that were much much worse. It does have a certain charm.
shareCompletely agree. I'm a massive horror fan but most of this film is just laughable. The actual horror scenes are excellent, but how can anyone think that the acting, script or characterisation are anything other than dire?
