Is this film as good as Gregory's Girl?.

Gregory's Girl is one of my favourite films. Is this film as good as that one?.

Yes it is indeed as good. If anything it's a bit rougher round the edges but it has similar comical quirks to Gregory's Girl with some lovely little sketches and fantastic Glasgow banter as dialogue. I'd love to own this on DVD in its original Scottish voice track, not the redubbed version that lingers about. I live in hope.

Its not quite as good as Gregory's Girl, but it is an incredibly charming film. I would still highly recommend viewing.
