...watch the the whole original series before watching the movies? I've only seen a few episodes of TOS. I've seen all of the other tv shows TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise(haven't watched discovery). Was keen to watch all the star trek movies next.

shareYou don't need to see them all, but a handful of TOS episodes will make anyone familiar with the original cast and the cast dynamics.
But don't watch The Changeling from TOS - pretty much the same plot as ST:TMP.
