lmao an old school chum said the same thing back in the 80s. god he was a dick. i'm sure you're a fine respectable person.

reply

Making that observation does not make one a dick, or unrespectable.

reply

Lol reminds me more of Thor bifrost thing and bridge

reply

always wondered why did they go with a rainbow poster anyway? its not like there were any rainbows in the movie (or any colour other than grey and white and blue)

reply

Wow, discrimination against the Visible Light Spectrum. What next?

reply

Mission accomplished! After 40 years, the majority of fans are gay or trannies.

reply

Well, Spock does enter an orifice.

reply

Nope. It's the three colors of the original Star Trek series shirts. Blue, red and gold.

reply

There's green on the poster, too.

Although, I suppose since the "gold" shirts were actually greenish but wound up looking gold under the stage lights...I guess it counts.

Yeah, the wraparound tunic. After I learned of the green-to-gold colour problem, I think they might have figured out how to make the green colour come through and made the second shirt actually look like how they wanted the show to look from the start.

What's weird about it is that red, yellow, and blue are the primary colours, so I'm not sure why they wanted green to begin with.

reply

i see Violet Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Inidigo

reply

You're right; I was looking at the little poster here on moviechat and it wasn't parsing the colours terribly well.

Probably just a super-awesome, psychedelic, groovy rainbow poster about how all these cultures are, like, one part of the spectrum...or whatever.
