what's with the dead couple?
did one of them wish that they'd be together forever or something?
or were they simply the dog's former owners?
A moment of great pathos for me in the film. One of the bodies was more decayed than the other so perhaps the female's innermost desire was to be with her dead beloved. Everything about that scene and how the camera invites the viewer to see and understand what they are observing, was amazing.
