I didn't find this one boring in any sense

This movie was on my watchlist for quite some time already but I just didn't watch it. I knew I was going to get bored if I watched it another day. But today I felt like I was ready to see it and I did. And wow, what a great movie and what was I happy I waited for my perfect mind state. The beginning was shot beautifully, the escape was intense, the cut off route where the writers goes and goes back and the overall mystery of knowing nothing and not knowing if it's true were very creepy, it looked beautiful, and in the latter part the dialogue was great in combination, though little reduced since part two, creepy atmosphere going on all the time. It really kept me interested the whole time. Loved it, far above any expectations.

I felt exactly the same, for me was a suspenseful and interesting movie, but I tried couple of days ago and I wasn't on the mood for watch it. I also had a prejudice from Solaris which I found too slow and hard to watch.

I think slow movies are something you can learn to enjoy by watching more of them. Since I posted that in 2014 I kind of fell in love with the more slower type of movies. But also watched Solaris a few days after Stalker and found it very hard to stay focused too! Great movie, but yes I agree it's hard to watch
