Wow, Rex Smith was some composer/actor!
I love this movie! I checked the internet a couple of weeks ago to see if it had been released-never really expecting that it had, it has been so long- and was thrilled to see that it had. I've watched it three or four times in the last couple of weeks....what a great story,cast,and songs! Got a kick out of the 70's hair, clothes, etc.

I just saw3 this movie on DVD and loved it.
While Rex was no Bob Dylan lyric-wise (And who CARES if those songs werent written by him...I dont think they were) the movie is classic. Little girl gets a tumble with rock icon. Man, as a teen I would have PAYED to shtoiop Zk Wylde or Eddie Van Halen!!!!
Sweet movie.....and if you look 0nline (like my sis did) you will find Rex is a realtor, and still pretty damn hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah thanks to IMDB users I found out this movie had a book series...now I just bought two of them but Now or Never is like $60 or more....if anybody knows where I can get it cheaper on the internet...let me know...and this movie is amazing....my mom introduced it to me about a year ago and I got it on DVD....I love it!!!!
shareThe third book, "Now or Never" is a bit hard to get. I paid around $50 to an Amazon seller for a used copy.
One thing to point out, the third book ends abrubtly, leaving an opening for a possible fourth book. I don't know if the Harts will ever write a fourth book and conclude the Michael/Jessie story, but I sure wish they did. It's been a long time since "Now or Never" was written, so chances are slim.
I was so desperate to end their story happily that I wrote my own book four.
I just tracked down the Now or Never book and am almost finished with it. I read ahead a little and have a feeling I know how it ends . . . .!! But I am curious what your fourth book would be about?? Synopsis??

Hello. This is my first time posting anything here. I love the movie Sooner or Later and have all 3 books. I just recently purchased "Now or Never" for $40.00 on Amazon. At the end of the book, I too was wishing for the Harts to "Put a finish on it". Sadly I just found out thru the internet that Bruce Hart passed away last year (Feb. 2006), so there will probably never be a finish to the story of Jessie and Michael. We can hope that Carole Hart will hear the cries of fans.

I must have missed this movie at the time, but had gotten the books via Scholastic back in middle school.
Which came first, the books or the movie? I wonder if they were going to do a Waiting Games movie but how can they show a 14 year old losing her virginity?
I didn't know there was a third book until today. Apparently, it came many years later, way past my time.
