Not bad

I gave this movie a chance, even watched it twice. Hey, it really wasn't that bad once I studied it. Yes, it was clumsy in a few plot areas, but... I liked how it gave a candid glimpse into how a naive young woman (Angela) was subjected to such devilish exploitation and abject betrayal by "friends" and family. The part where her mother swiped her modeling money was particularly disgusting - even more so than that pig's head ("The Godfather," anyone??) stashed in her bed. Also got a kick out of that Billy Idol-like nightclub performance artist, "Captain Rock." Oh, and the disco music and dancing... does that bring back a few uncomfortable memories, or what? lol
