As a rabid fan of "Roller Boogie," I keep waiting for Sony to release "Skatetown U.S.A." on DVD. I don't even remember seeing this on HBO in the 1980s, but "Roller Boogie" was always playing, along with "Xanadu" and "Can't Stop The Music." Are there any on-line petitions to get this movie released?

The problem is quite simple and anyone in the industry know what is the problem. Nothing to do with film popularity or box office wich are completly irrelevent, the problem is clearing the music rights.
