Ultra long-range assassination science

Don't forget this one scene in 'Seven', which was originally titled, "Sevano's Seven".

One of the band of good guys is a scientist and techno-gizmo expert. One of his gadgets, he tells his colleagues, is a weapon system inspired by the Soviet's own experiments in ultra long-range assassination. It is the theoretical ballistic science of deploying a small, ballistic, anti-personnel weapon from several miles away to target and kill a specific human target. In the scene it's a small, metal rocket about 12 inches long, fired from miles away and yet finds its target, killing one of the main villains and his bodyguards. It was all silly James Bond-like fiction, but it was fun.
