Blu-ray coming from Code Red!

Wow, never thought this day would come. But Bill Olson (owner of Code Red) is sending the 16mm A/B rolls to the lab for an extensive HD restoration. They're aiming for a late 2016/early 2017 release.

Will update as more details surface, but this is fantastic news!!!

Yes, let's hope that this happens. I've wanted to see the film since I saw a trailer preview at a drive-in theater back in 1979. I never have seen it, as it hasn't been around much, either on home video or on cable TV.

You can watch a low-res version on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L45_4yDvgQs

Truthfully it's not very good, but I'm a "cabin the woods" and "anthology" sucker, so it does a decent job of whetting my appetite. It's just a shame that the rumored 4th (and best) segment that was excised will likely never be reclaimed.

I hope it has a commentary track so I can finally have someone explain what the heck the second story's finale was about/what happened. I liked the 2nd story the most, until the idiotic ending that made no sense at all.
